Patient Confidentiality is key to the way we conduct the business of our Club. All contacts with patients are made via the Colorectal Nursing Team unless the patient agrees otherwise. At no time are patients’ records or medical information conveyed in any way to the members of the Club or used for ABC Club business.
If members send in their contact details to a Committee member e.g. to order tickets for events arranged by the Club, then these details will only be used for the purpose of running the Club and not divulged to a third party outside of the Club.
Members may have their details removed from our members/mailing list at any time by informing the Colorectal Nurses’ office.
The members/mailing list is constantly updated by the Colorectal Nurses’ office.
