NEXT EVENT
We are arranging another (Free) Social Evening in the Aylesford Unit on the 1st November 2023 starting at 7.00pm . We hope you all will come along including those who attended our last Social Evening, giving us another chance to show you what we normally provide. This will be our pre-Christmas evening and will include festive style refreshments, mince pies etc..
Open to all members, family & friends.
Mr Henry Ferguson has kindly agreed to give us a very informative talk about the relatively new ROBOTIC SURGERY facility we now have at Warwick Hospital.
SUMMER TEA PARTY
This year’s party was held on the 16th September 23 and was attended by 50 people. The catering was provided by “Wendy’s Catering” which was excellent.
The raffle raised a total of £202 and, with the agreement of all attending, was donated to Mark Harrington towards his expenses associated with his planned fund raising cycle journey from John O’Groats to Lands End next June 2024—proceeds will go to Warwick Hospital and our ABC Club.
Mark is a Bowel Cancer patient and an ABC Club member and it is intended to be his way of saying thank you for saving his life.
